Tree Dismantles/Felling

The procedure commonly known as tree dismantling or felling involves the cutting down of individual trees. We'll carry out an initial survey to establish if tree felling is the appropriate procedure.

Tree Reductions/Thinning

Tree thinning is the process of removing live branches to reduce crown density. Tree thinning is the most common method of pruning and is often completed to ensure the tree receives all proper growth requirements.

Dead wooding/Limb removal

Dead wooding is a vital safety procedure and required for the continual growth of the tree. Branches or limbs often die off and can then break off or become vulnerable from braking off from the tree itself.


Pollarding is an effective pruning technique which involves the removal of the upper branches of a tree. Pollarding is carried out to also promote a dense head of foliage and branches.

Hedge Cutting

As well as being effective method of maintaining your hedge, hedge cutting helps to promote new growth and encourage dense foliage to flourish that helps to grow healthier & thicker hedges.

Light Pruning

Light pruning is required on trees to remove both living and dead parts of a tree. Light pruning may involve cutting off soft growth, twigs, branches, limbs and parts of the tree's root system.

Stump Grinding/Removal

Stump grinding and stump removal are two different techniques of removing the stump of a tree. The main difference between the two, is stump grinding leaves the root in the ground to decay.
